Police are investigating three suspicious deaths in a state after separate incidents involving a body found in a bin, a fatal house fire, and the discovery of an elderly man in medical distress.

Queensland Police were called to an apartment complex at Kangaroo Point in Brisbane shortly before noon on Friday after the discovery of a body.
