A body has been found in the search for a missing man from County Durham, police have confirmed.
Officers from Durham Constabulary were searching for Wayne Parker from Consett who was reported missing. However, on Tuesday morning the force sadly confirmed that a body has been found in the search for the 35-year-old.
Although formal identification has yet to take place, officers believe it to be the body of Wayne Parker. Police confirmed the death is not being treated as suspicious and said a file is being prepared for the coroner.

His family have been informed and the police passed on their condolences saying their thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.
A spokesperson for Durham Constabulary said: "We are sorry to report that a body has been found in the search for missing Consett man Wayne Parker.
"Formal identification has yet to take place, but we believe it to be the body of the 35-year-old. His family have been informed.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time."
