A BODY has been found amid the search for a 20-year-old missing from Edinburgh.
Police had appealed for information after Daniel Mrimi went missing from the Morningside Road area of the capital.
The 20-year-old, from Glenrothes, was last seen at around 12.50pm on Monday, June 1.
On Tuesday, officers said that a body had been found during the searches for Mrimi.
Although no formal identification has taken place, police said that Mrimi’s family had been informed.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland added: “There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
