A body has been found in the search for a missing Derbyshire 20-year-old who was reported missing from his home on Friday.
Police have sadly discovered the body, which has since been identified as Izaak Pollard, in Butterley Reservoir earlier this afternoon (Tuesday, May 3).
Izaak went missing from home in Ripley on April 29.
Several appeals were published by officers over the bank holiday weekend to try and find the 20-year-old with thousands of people sharing images of Izaak in a bid to try to find him, Derbyshire Live reported.
Izaak's stepmother Nina Summerton spoke to Derbyshire Live over the weekend and said his family had been searching non-stop in areas including Ripley, Belper, Cromford and Matlock.
Tragically, officers have this afternoon had to inform the family of the sad outcome.
A spokesperson for Derbyshire police said: "Izaak’s family have been made aware and our thoughts are with them at this extremely sad time.
'There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a file is being prepared for the coroner."
