The Seattle Seahawks are gearing up for their first divisional rematch of the season with the Los Angeles Rams. It is a crucial matchup before their Thursday Night Football showdown, and it very likely will be one where franchise history is set.
It does not take a football expert to know linebacker Bobby Wagner and wide receiver Tyler Lockett are special players. Predictably, both are in the middle of another strong season. But Sunday will have the chance for them to set impressive benchmarks.
Amazing: @Bwagz is just 5 tackles from his 12th straight 100-tackle season. Only two players (London Fletcher, Derrick Brooks) have reached that feat.
Also: @TDLockett12 is 3 catches, 27 yds from 2nd place in @Seahawks history in catches & receiving yds, behind Steve Largent.

Wagner is a surefire lock to be a first ballot Hall of Famer when he finally decides to call it a career. While Lockett may not be guaranteed a spot in Canton one day, he’s certainly made a name for himself as one of the greatest Seattle Seahawks of all time. He is currently tied for 6th in the NFL with the most total tackles
Earlier this summer, I took a look at the “Mt. Rushmore’s” of each position group for the Seahawks. Naturally, Lockett is on the list behind only the legendary Steve Largent.
Suffice it to say, there will be time spent on the broadcast on Sunday to highlight the important accomplishments both players have achieved.
