Russell Wilson is a great quarterback and like Seahawks Hall of Famer Kenny Easley, we will miss watching his game. That said, we understand why the team decided to move on from Wilson when they did, even if we aren’t huge fans of the trade package they got from the Broncos.
It’s a different story altogether with Bobby Wagner, a universally-beloved franchise legend who got stabbed in the back by coach Pete Carroll – who proclaimed to love Wagner and said they expect him back not even a week before informing him he’s being released.
It should also come as no surprise that Wagner is already getting tons of interest – including from Seattle’s division rivals. Watch Ian Rapoport at NFL Network break down the latest on Wagner’s market.

On a pure fan outrage level, Wagner being done like this is straight up heartbreaking – far more than Russell Wilson leaving for Denver.
