Bob Harris ‘overwhelmed’ by fan response after emotional BBC Radio 2 departure

  • Veteran broadcaster Bob Harris has been left “overwhelmed by the love that’s come in” after announcing his decision to step down from radio after almost six decades.
  • The decision was made weeks after the BBC Radio 2 favourite revealed his prostate cancer had spread to his spine.
