A BMW driver smashed into a nurse's parked car and ran away afterward with bare feet.
Kelli Parker, 34, who lives in Wallasey, was woken up just after 1am on Friday, January 6, after hearing a "loud bang" and feeling her house "shake". She looked out of the window and couldn't see her Ford Fiesta, which had been parked directly outside of her home on Poulton Road, so went outside to see what happened.
A number of people were already in the street after feeling their houses shake and found Kelli's car, along with a concrete bollard had been crashed into by a BMW. The nurse and mum-of two said she believed the car must have been going at "some speed" as her car had been pushed a number of meters onto Addington Street.

Kelli told The ECHO: "I just heard this big bang and the house shook. As I was going outside all I was thinking was 'please don't be my car' even though I couldn't see it out of the window and saw smashed glass on the floor.
"Everyone else who came out of their homes on the street said they felt their homes shake too. When I came out one of them said 'is that your Ford Fiesta' and I said 'yeah, where is it?' and they pointed it out over on the next street.
"He must have been going at some speed because how else do you completely knock over a bollard, cause that damage and move an entire car?"
Kelli said her neighbour confronted the driver of the BMW, who was seen holding his arm and wearing nothing on his feet.
She said: "My neighbour said 'are you alright' to the man and he just said 'no' and ran away with no shoes on. Because he ran away from the scene police had to do forensics on the car.
"I was really shaken, it's hard seeing all of your kids' things just sprawled across the street. I have loads of the kids' stuff in the boot that I wouldn't get out.
"The car seats were all mangled and you couldn't even open the doors because of the damage. And now I'm having to go through the inconvenience of insurance.
"I had to take half a day off work today [Friday] which I won't get paid for and try and get my children to school and football."
Kelli is now asking for anyone who has CCTV, Ring doorbell or dashcam footage of the BMW or was in the area and saw the incident happen to get in touch with Merseyside Police.
A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "Enquiries are being carried out into the circumstances and are appealing for people who witnessed the collision to come forward. Anyone who witnessed the collision or captured anything on CCTV or dashcam is asked to contact SCIU on (0151) 777 5747, or email SCIU@merseyside.police.uk.
"Alternatively DM @MerPolCC or @CrimestoppersUK on 0800 555 111, quoting reference 23000016772."
