A BMW had to be recovered after it swerved off the road and flipped onto its roof.
At 9pm on Saturday evening, Lancashire Police were called to Gregory Lane, in Halsall after a car carrying two people flipped onto its roof while avoiding an animal in the road. The car came to rest in a nearby field.
The driver was unhurt and the passenger, a man in his 20s, was taken to Aintree Hospital with minor injuries. The BMW has been recovered and no arrests were made.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: "A call came to us at 9.03pm on Saturday. The driver lost control of a BMW after swerving to avoid an animal in the road and ended up in a field. The car turned over. A passenger in his 20s was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The car has since been recovered."
