Gogglebox’s Duncan James has shared an “exciting” update as he confirmed the shows filming date.
The Blue singer will be joining good pal Denise Van Outen on the upcoming season of the celebrity spin off as he takes over from Denise’s ex-fiancé Eddie Boxshall.
During today’s episode of ITV breakfast show Good Morning Britain, presenters Adil Ray and Charlotte Hawkins were joined by Duncan and Simon Webbe as they spoke about their band's reunion tour, which starts in September.

While they were on the show Adil went on to mention Duncan’s upcoming Gogglebox appearance, He said: “You’re going on celebrity Gogglebox as well.” Duncan replied: “Yes me and Denis Van Outen the DVO - we are doing Gogglebox together, I can’t wait.”
He then confirmed the filming date ahead of the season premiere on June 10. He continued: “We actually start filming next week so yeah it’s really exciting." Denise and Duncan have been friends for over a decade.
Denise used to appear on the hit Channel 4 show alongside her ex-fiancé however he quit after the couple split earlier this year.
Sharing the news with her followers Denise said: "Over the past couple of months, there has been much speculation regarding my relationship with Eddie. It saddens me to confirm that we are no longer a couple. I had to make the difficult decision not to continue in our relationship.
"I will always treasure the good times we spent together, and the memories made. We ask that you please respect our privacy at this time, especially for our children."
