Blue Peter time capsules have really not had the best of luck over the last few years.
Filled with viewers' mementos of the time, the first one was buried by presenters Peter Purves, Valerie Singleton and John Noakes in June 1971.
The capsule, which contained photographs of the presenters and a copy of the 1970 Blue Peter annual, was dug up 20 years later.
