Blue Lights: When does new Northern Irish crime drama air on BBC

A new BBC police drama is set to grip viewers next week.

Blue Lights, created by Northern Irish pair Declan Lawn and Adam Patterson, is set to follow the lives of three rookie police officers finding their way in the PSNI.

The six-part series is made by Two Cities Television and produced with support from Northern Ireland Screen as part of their continued partnership with the BBC.

Siân Brooke (Sherlock, Good Omens), Martin McCann (Marcella, Sentinel), Richard Dormer (Game of Thrones, Fortitude), Katherine Devlin (The Dig, Vikings) and newcomer Nathan Braniff lead the cast alongside John Lynch (Tin Star, The Fall), Jonathan Harden (Time, Unforgotten) and Valene Kane (The Fall, Gangs of London).

When does Blue Lights air?

The series will begin on Monday, March 27 at 9pm on BBC One and BBC Northern Ireland.

The entire series will be available to watch on BBC iPlayer from this date.
