Next Sunday is Mother's Day (March 19) and as usual, if you're looking out for budget-friendly blooms, the supermarket is the place to go.
Although sending your mum a bunch of flowers direct to her door is a real treat, delivered bouquets can come with a heftier price tag, and with families all over the region keeping a close eye on the pennies, there's no doubt you can save yourself a few pounds if you deliver them yourself - and see your mum at the same time. With many household budgets under strain amid the cost of living crisis, it makes sense to shop around for the best deal, and your careful spending should get your mum's tick of approval too.
With bunches of daffodils on offer for as little as £1, you really don't have to spend a lot to treat your mum to seasonal blooms, but if you want to push out the boat, we've rounded up the best deals on offer at the checkout.

For those who live too far away from their mum or can't get to a supermarket, the best supermarket deals for delivered flowers look to come from Waitrose this year.
Waitrose's best value deal is a bunch of multi-coloured British Tulips for £15 delivered, order by Saturday for delivery on Sunday. There are many deals for Mother's Day flowers online, but beware of catches and special offers to lure you in to a monthly subscription of flowers, such as Bloom and Wild or Freddie's Flowers. If you would like to treat your mum to a regular delivery of flowers, companies such as these are ideal, but make sure you know what you are signing up for.
Another catch with online fliowers is delivery costs, with flower delivery companies advertising bunches from as little at £10 or £15 but it's only when you get to checkout you realise that delivery is not included and can cost up to £7.
