Blizzard Conditions and Dangerous Wind Chills Grip Iowa
Iowa is currently in the grip of a severe winter storm, with heavy snowfall, strong winds, and dangerous wind chills plaguing the state. The latest reports indicate that six to eight inches of new snow fell today, covering the entire region. To compound the situation, these snowdrifts are being whipped around by the powerful northerly winds, blocking several roads, especially in rural areas.
