Secretary of State Antony Blinken has strongly urged Congress to provide additional aid for Ukraine in order to counter the aggressive actions of Russia. During a meeting with the head of NATO in Washington, Blinken emphasized the importance of preventing Vladimir Putin from becoming emboldened and sending a negative message to other U.S. adversaries.
The Secretary of State stressed the need for Congress to pass the Supplemental Amendment in order to maintain success for Ukraine and ensure strategic failure for Russia. He emphasized that the situation on the ground is dire, and failure to provide necessary support could have grave implications.
