Blathnaid Ni Chofaigh has withdrawn a sexual harassment case taken against RTE.
RTE reports that at the Workplace Relations Commission this morning, her lawyer read a short statement in which she said that Ms Ni Chofaigh was withdrawing the proceedings and accepted the outcome of an internal RTE investigation into the matter.
Her lawyer added that no compensation had been paid. Ms Ni Chofaigh was not present at this morning's hearing at the Workplace Relations Commission headquarters at Lansdowne House, Dublin 4.

The presenter had lodged a complaint against RTE under the Employment Equality Act alleging discrimination by way of harassment during July 2019 and subsequent victimisation.
RTE denied the allegations.
