A road in Blantyre has been closed off for a number of hours amid a police incident.
Traffic information site INRIX report that Main Street is shut off to traffic in both directions due a police incident between East Avenue and the A725 (Coatbridge Turn Off).
The road has been closed since around 5.45am this morning. Traffic is reported to be coping well.

Police have confirmed that the incident relates to a concern for a person and that officers remain at the scene.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Officers received a report of concern for a person near Main Street, Blantyre around 4.55pm on Tuesday, June 14. Officers are currently at the scene and the road remains closed."
