Blaney, the only remaining Team Penske driver still in contention for the 2023 Cup Series championship, had an up-and-down day Sunday at Texas that mirrored much of his season.
He and his No. 12 Ford team struggled in the early going, used a two-tire pit strategy to gain traction position and appeared to change his fortunes.
