Hollywood stars Christina Hendricks and Chris O'Dowd have weighed in on the ongoing legal drama surrounding It Ends With Us, starring Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. While discussing their new series 'Small Town, Big Story', the duo acknowledged the chaos surrounding the highly publicised dispute that spiralled into multimillion-dollar lawsuits, contrasting it with their own filming experience.
The new series follows Hendricks' character of a film producer, who brings her Hollywood production hack home to a small Irish town, and seemingly, throws the spotlight on a secret that's been kept hidden since the eve of the Millennium. When asked if their show takes references from any real drama on Hollywood production sets, much like Lively and Baldoni, O’Dowd admitted to ETimes that he hadn’t followed the controversy closely but was aware of it through his wife. "We tried to avoid whatever went on over there," he quipped, prompting Hendricks to add, "I can't believe what I'm watching!"
