Actress Blake Lively recently shared insights into her DIY Halloween costume skills, revealing her knack for creating special moments for her children with husband Ryan Reynolds. Lively showcased her handmade Hocus Pocus costumes, explaining her process of starting with base items from Etsy or Amazon and adding layers of details and trims to create unique outfits. Despite not knowing how to pattern make, Lively's crafting skills shone through in the intricate costumes inspired by the 1993 film.
Lively, who comes from a family where her mother used to make everything from scratch, expressed her desire to learn such skills as a bucket list item. The couple, who have four children together, recently revealed the name of their youngest, Olin, during the premiere of Reynolds' movie. The children also made cameo appearances in the film, with Olin appearing as Babypool and Inez and Betty taking on roles as Kidpool and Hugh Jackman's 'wrangler,' respectively. Lively herself made a masked cameo as Lady Deadpool.
The children's godfather, director Shawn Levy, expressed his joy at having the Reynolds children involved in the movie, with Olin's cameo being his favorite voice appearance. Additionally, the children's godmother is none other than the couple's close friend, Taylor Swift, who humorously referenced Reynolds' character in the movie on her Instagram Story.
