Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni have been embroiled in a tense and increasingly personal legal battle for more than a year, with new reports suggesting the dispute has taken a heavy emotional toll on both sides. What began as a harassment lawsuit has since grown into what insiders describe as a broader struggle over power, reputation, and competing narratives.
According to Us Weekly, multiple sources close to both parties say the prolonged court fight has left everyone involved emotionally drained, with neither side willing to retreat. A source close to Lively said the actress has been working hard to maintain a sense of normalcy despite the pressure surrounding the case. “As a mom of four, the actress puts on a brave and positive face for her family and work, but the retaliation has taken a toll,” the source shared.
Those close to Lively say she remains focused on her children and professional commitments, even as the legal proceedings continue in the background. The ongoing nature of the dispute, however, has reportedly made it difficult to fully escape the stress that comes with being at the center of such a high-profile conflict.
Baldoni and his team are said to be experiencing similar fatigue. A source close to the actor and director described his side as “exhausted” by the drawn-out process. “They’ve had to continuously try to show that protecting themselves and their families is simply that and not retaliation,” the source explained.

According to the insider, Baldoni’s inner circle is eager for the case to move forward and reach a resolution. The source added that his family and friends “just want this nightmare to be over for them. [They believe] the public has caught on to the truth and the reality of what happened [and] they are ready for their day in court.”
Both Lively and Baldoni are parents, a fact that sources say has made the conflict especially difficult to navigate. Baldoni shares daughter Maiya, 10, and son Maxwell, 7, with his wife, Emily Baldoni. Lively, meanwhile, is the mother of four children with her husband, Ryan Reynolds: daughters James, 11, Inez, 9, and Betty, 6, as well as son Olin, 2.

As the legal battle continues, those close to both sides say the emotional strain has become impossible to ignore. With neither party prepared to back down, the case appears headed for a decisive moment in court, one that supporters on both sides hope will finally bring clarity and closure.
