Blackpool boss Michael Appleton has praised Leeds United loanee Ian Poveda for his reaction off the bench in the Seasiders' weekend 0-0 Championship draw with Birmingham City.
Having been heavily involved at the start of Blackpool's campaign, the 22-year-old winger has found himself on the bench more often than not in recent weeks.
However, on Saturday afternoon, he was able to make an impact off the bench for Blackpool against Birmingham.

While the game finished in a draw, Poveda impressed in his brief cameo, enough to earn some praise from Appleton, who hailed the Leeds winger after his spell out of the Blackpool starting XI.
"He’s [Poveda] just looking to be more positive and I think he went through a spell where he wasn’t in the team and it probably got the better of him and he’s shown a lot of frustration," said Appleton.
"His attitude could have been a little bit better at times, but he’s responded well. He’s come back from that and I think the way he’s applied himself in training has rubbed off on his performances when he’s come off the bench."
