BOSTON — If not for Connor Bedard’s existence, Kevin Korchinski’s performance in his first two Blackhawks games would have been heavily scrutinized.
But Bedard does exist, so Korchinski almost flew under the radar against the Penguins and Bruins. He didn’t make enough mistakes to stand out in a negative way, either, which is an encouraging sign he isn’t out of his depth defensively in the NHL.
