Blackburn sign England one-cap wonder as Championship relegation battle heats up

  • Blackburn Rovers have signed Nathan Redmond on a deal until the end of the season.
  • Redmond arrives as a free agent after leaving fellow Championship club Sheffield Wednesday earlier this season.
  • The 32-year-old has previously played in the Premier League for multiple clubs, including Birmingham City, Norwich and Southampton.
  • He also has one England cap after coming on as a substitute in a friendly against Germany in March 2017.
  • Blackburn are currently 19th in the Championship, just four points above the relegation zone with seven matches remaining.
