Leeds United could be forced to reveal their hand after OGC Nice have made an approach to sign Blackburn Rovers striker Ben Brereton-Diaz. Fabrizio Romano claims the Ligue 1 outfit have placed a bid of around £10million for the Chilean frontman.
The Whites have not hidden their desire to bolster their attacking options this summer, with Patrick Bamford's recent plight with injuries a concern. Jesse Marsch's side struggled to score goals in his absence and they need someone to share the goal scoring burden.
The Blackburn Rovers hotshot has been one of the brightest talents in the Championship over the course of the past few seasons, with Brereton-Diaz linked with a move to La Liga and abroad. He's become a fan favourite for his country, scoring four goals in 15 appearances, scoring his first goal for La Roja in a 1-0 win over Bolivia.

Rovers boss Jon Dahl Tomasson has admitted he still doesn't know whether Brereton-Diaz will be at the club by the end of the transfer window, with Rovers slapping a £20million price tag on the 23-year-old.
Romano tweeted: "OGC Nice have submitted an opening proposal for Ben Brereton Díaz. Bid worth 10m to open talks with Blackburn. No updates on Edinson Cavani as his priority is La Liga since February - talks now on for Brereton Díaz."
