Nottingham Forest returned to winning ways after a 2-0 win over promotion chasing Blackburn Rovers in the Championship.
The win has seen the Reds climb to sixth-place in the table and they are now only three points behind Huddersfield Town.
James Garner returned to the scoresheet for the first time since December while Brennan Johnson netted his eighth goal of the season.
Rovers manager Tony Mowbray felt his side's missed opportunities later came back to haunt them.
"The strength of our team this season has been scoring the first goal and then making it really hard for the opponents to break us down," Mowbray told RoversTV.
"We should have scored it. The opportunities were there for us but we didn’t take them. We paid for that.
"We’ve been on the other side of that coin as well though and you need to accept that."
Although admitting key moments in the game did not go his side's way, he pinpointed it as a lack of clinicality in front of goal.
"You can’t keep missing great chances and expect to win football matches in their league," the 58-year-old added. "We should have scored the first goal tonight, it was a key moment.
"We need to keep trying to improve and get back to keeping clean sheets."
"Forest are a decent team but I felt we were in the ascendancy for most of the game. We manufactured a way of losing it 2-0 and we have to accept that."
