When does BO7 and Warzone Season 2 Reloaded release

BO7 and Warzone Season 2 Reloaded will release on March 11 at 9am PT across all platforms. You can check our countdown timer to get an exact idea of how much time is left before new content drops.
Season 2 Reloaded ties progression together across Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone, mainly through shared weapons and event tracks.
New weapons and attachments
Voyak KT-3 is the new Assault Rifle, which is an event reward, and is a full-auto rifle with high damage, slower fire rate, and moderate to high recoil. Its best damage range is roughly 25 meters, and it has a fast reload speed and strong handling.
Swordfish A1 is another new event weapon, which is a Marksman Rifle and a four-round burst rifle with fast cyclic fire and low recoil, but slower mobility. Its Penta Burst prestige mod adds a fifth bullet to each burst and extra ammo at the cost of recoil.

Coming to new attachments, we’re getting the Echo 12 Backlash Launcher Kit, which is a shotgun fire-mod that turns the Echo 12 into a grenade launcher with bouncing explosives that do more damage after a bounce.
The second attachment is the MXR‑17 ANVL conversion, which is a barrel that starts with a very high fire rate and high recoil that settles over time, plus extra ammo.
Black Ops 7 Endgame roadmap
Glitch Fractures are replayable arenas you unlock by killing Strike Bosses inside Nightmare Zones in Avalon. After you beat a Strike Boss in a Nightmare Zone, a Glitch Fracture location is revealed and stays on your map permanently.
Starting a Glitch Fracture pulls your squad into corrupted C-Link data, where you fight escalating waves and then a Glitch Boss. Any squad member who hasn’t personally revealed the Fracture can still join if they vote to enter when a teammate triggers it.
Beating the Glitch Boss is how you earn Nightmare Skills and progress your Endgame build.
Nightmare Skills
Nightmare Skills are powerful specialization bonuses you gain from completing Glitch Fractures.
- You can equip and upgrade only one Nightmare Skill at a time.
- If you already have one, you can choose to upgrade it or replace it when you earn another.

Nightmare Skill options
- Nova Strike: melee hits can spawn an electrical field that damages enemies, with upgrades that add Shock and persistence in the area
- Phoenix Burst: when low health, you trigger an explosion that damages enemies and fully heals you, with upgrades for ammo refills, infinite mag ammo, and temporary immunity
- Hellwing: wingsuiting over enemies drops incendiary fire on them, with upgrades that extend duration and add a Flashbang effect to enemies in the fire
- Chaos Rounds: your shots have a chance to roll through elemental effects like Photon, Incendiary, Frost, and Shock, later adding Graviton, Mortar, Shrapnel, and Neuro‑Disruption with chain reactions between targets
- Frost Vortex: bullets can create a snowstorm that pulls enemies in, later applying Frost even to Special and Elite enemies
Decide early if you’re building around survivability (Phoenix Burst), crowd control (Frost Vortex or Chaos Rounds), or aggression (Nova Strike or Hellwing), and stick to that line rather than constantly swapping.
Exotic Fabricator
The Exotic Fabricator is Endgame’s long-tail chase for perfect weapons.
- You get access to the Exotic Fabricator as a reward for defeating Strike Bosses in Nightmare Zones
- Each Fabricator can only be used once, so you need to plan which weapon you want to invest in
Each weapon goes through three stages at the Fabricator:
- Upgrade to Exotic rarity with boosted damage
- Gain a Utility Bonus that adds functional perks
- Gain a random Exotic Effect for unique behavior
If a gun is fully Exotic or is already a named Exotic, you can re-roll the Utility Bonus or Exotic Effect instead of starting from scratch.
Black Ops 7 Multiplayer roadmap

| Grind | 6v6 Medium |
BO2 skatepark, ramps, and verticality, now with wall-jump paths |
| Firing Range | 6v6 Small |

New modes: Gauntlet and Infected
Gauntlet is the main new competitive mode. It has two teams of six run through five modes back-to-back, including Domination, Kill Confirmed, Hardpoint, Team Deathmatch, and Roulette.
Roulette centers a powerful Akimbo Hand Cannon that can backfire and kill its user. Each segment lasts two minutes, and points are awarded after each mode, with the total score across all five deciding the winner.
Infected returns as a party mode with a twist. One player starts as Infected and tries to convert all Survivors. Additional AI undead join the Infected side to increase pressure. Infected can earn Mutant Injection Scorestreaks to transform into a Mangler or Disciple with enhanced offensive tools.
Lockshot Scorestreak
The Lockshot is a low-cost smart pistol Scorestreak. It costs 650 score in Multiplayer, and its functions while aiming down sights to lock onto multiple enemies, then one trigger pull rapidly deletes all locked targets.
It cannot be countered by Perks and has mastery badges to grind, and has two Overclocks – Multi-Lock for an extra round to lock one more target and Quick-Lock for faster lock-on.
You unlock Lockshot through Weekly Challenges, and it also appears as Support in Zombies with a Salvage cost.
Black Ops 7 Zombies roadmap
Zombies players get a big mid-season drop with Paradox Junction and new systems. Paradox Junction is a round-based map and a temporal prison controlled by the Warden.

The crew is trapped in a looped reality split between a past version and a future version of the same location. You move between timelines through round progression or by buying access to a cracked golden portal using Essence.
New enemy: Rad-Hound
Rad-Hounds are new irradiated dog enemies. They rush players quickly and explode on death, leaving behind a dangerous radioactive cloud. Positioning and quick kills are key to avoiding getting cornered in tight spaces.
Blundergat and Sundergat Wonder Weapon
The Blundergat returns with a new evolution path. Base Blundergat is a quad-barrel shotgun with a horizontal pellet spread, high damage, and a strong critical multiplier, especially when Pack-a-Punched.
With specific upgrade steps, it becomes the Sundergat, which can rip the soul out of enemies and has multiple charged variants.
Sundergat has three modes:
- Soul Wrencher: stronger blasts that visibly yank ectoplasmic “souls” from killed enemies.
- Sunder Purge: consumes more ammo to create a conical AoE blast that knocks zombies down while dealing massive damage.
- Sunder Exile: a charged beam-style attack layered on top of the blast and cone, deleting anything in a narrow path.
Zombies support items and events
Zombies also shares Lockshot Support weapon, a smart pistol Scorestreak in Zombies, costing 1250 Salvage, with mastery badges. Turncoat GobbleGum charms nearby zombies so they temporarily fight for you (up to five allies).
Warzone Season 2 Reloaded roadmap
Black Ops Royale

Black Ops Royale brings a Blackout-style ruleset to modern Warzone. It’s free-to-play, played on Avalon, and up to 100 players can join the map.
The major differences from standard BR are the absence of starting Loadouts, Gulag, and Buy Stations. You simply drop in, loot for weapons and items, and fight to stay alive inside a shrinking circle until one team remains.
Season 2 Reloaded reworks three perk slots and buffs Ghost in standard BR and Resurgence. For new perks, there are Momentum, Berserker, and Hunter.
Momentum is for Slot 2, replaces Alertness and improves close-quarters handling, reduces jump penalties, lowers fire delay when sliding, tightens hip-fire, increases ADS move speed, and speeds up crouch or prone movement.
Berserker replaces Bomb Squad and, after a kill, grants a short burst of faster equipment use, weapon swaps, reloads, stance changes, and armor plating. It also adds flinch resistance and reduces visual clutter at low health.
Hunter is for Slot 3, replaces Tracker, and combines the benefits of Alertness and Tracker into one awareness perk. It outlines and shows footprints of enemies you damage, senses enemies within 30 meters, and gives feedback when someone is aiming at you.
Ghost is buffed with a grace period against detection like UAVs, extended from 1.5 seconds to 5 seconds. Warzone ties heavily into the two headline Mid-Season events. The Counter Skies Event Pass, which progresses with XP from any game mode, but is tied to Black Ops Royale.
Rewards include Swordfish A1, Echo 12 Backlash kit, Waylay DS20 AR blueprint, Field Hunt RK-9 SMG blueprint, and more cosmetics.
And the Altitude Tactics Event, which requires playing across multiple modes (BO7 and Warzone) to fully clear. It unlocks Voyak KT-3 AR, Pinnacle reticle, Rainfall camo, Pinpoint Calling Card, Gliders Emblem, and more cosmetics.
There’s also a Warzone Ranked Series Season 2 event aimed at Resurgence for only Ranked players, with rewards based on final ladder placement and Event Win Challenges. For more about Season 2 Reloaded, you can check Activision’s official blog.
