Season 4 continues a series of packed seasons for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, featuring more Multiplayer maps, Zombies content, and an operation in Endgame. While much of the content is available at launch, some of it will arrive later with Season 4 Reloaded.
Here’s everything coming to Black Ops 7 in Season 4 across Multiplayer, Zombies, and Endgame on June 4.
BO7 Season 4 roadmap
Multiplayer
For Multiplayer, Season 4 includes five maps. Three original maps (Liminal, Primetime, and Zenith) and two remastered maps (Vertigo and Launch). Among the original maps, both Liminal and Zenith are designed for 2v2 and 6v6. While Vertigo, Liminal, and Zenith are available at launch, the rest are coming later in the season.
Apart from the new maps, five modes are coming to BO7:
- Black Ops Classic: Simplified movement and streamlined loadouts across Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, and Kill Confirmed.
- Blueprint Gun Game: No Scorestreaks or loadouts. Eliminate players with weapons to advance to the next weapon.
- 6v6 Gunfight: Pre-determined loadouts that change every two rounds. Health regeneration and respawns are disabled.
- Team Blueprint Sharpshooter: Weapon blueprints rotate every few seconds. Each weapon cycle swaps to the same new weapon for everyone.
- Knife Fight: Melee-only Gunfight mode.
Season 4 also introduces the Iron Rain Scorestreak and changes to the Ranked Play’s Skill Rating (SR) system previously outlined by Treyarch.
Zombies
Kowakujō is the Season 4 Zombies map, coming mid-season. It’s a Japanese-themed map, with active volcanoes, Hellping Hound Gobblegum, and a new Wonder Weapon. In the meantime, you can look forward to Survival map: Nuked, Directed Mode for Totenreich, Starting Room: Totenreich, and Rogue Run.
Rogue Run is a new roguelite experience in Zombies. There are five different playlists with different bosses and objectives. After clearing each round, select one of the three presented rewards and keep pushing. Completing challenges in these playlists grants permanent benefits in Rogue Run, so trying out all of them is worth it.
Endgame
Endgame continues with another operation, Wall Breaker. Find the weak link in Guild security, crack open their operation, and defeat the Command Killer Glitch Boss. As always, throughout the operation, you can earn skins, XP tokens, calling cards, and weapon blueprints.
Season 4 introduces Operator Prestige to Endgame. Operators with a maxed-out Combat Rating (CR) can enter Prestige to access an extra Exotic skill slot, an extra Nightmare skill slot, and equip a fourth skill track.
On the skill side, here are the new abilities and skill tracks coming in Season 4:
- Skill track: Guardian: A skill track focused on damage resistance and supplies.
- Major ability: Death Machine: Deadly machine gun. High damage per shot and large magazine capacity.
- Minor ability: Psych Grenade: Explodes on impact, releasing a lingering cloud of hallucinogenic gas that brain-rots enemies.
Weapons and attachments
Season 4 weapon offering involves two assault rifles, an SMG, and a marksman rifle. Among more interesting additions, there’s the Grimhawk special, which fires homing rounds. For melee fans, the Executioner’s Duet axe should be a fun addition with its fast attack speed.
Here are the new weapons in BO7 Season 4:
-
KRS-7.62 (marksman rifle):
Semi-auto marksman rifle. High damage and great mobility, limited by significant first shot recoil.
- 15″ MFS Incursion Barrel (Prestige attachment): Provides a significant improvement to bullet penetration damage, bullet velocity, and visual recoil stabilization.
-
CBRS-3 (SMG):
Full-auto submachine gun with a high capacity, rechambering magazine. Well-rounded with excellent range and recoil.
- MFS Carousel Fast Mag (Prestige attachment): Magazine containing 60 rounds that rechambers on its own.
-
Grimhawk (special):
Full-auto specialized rifle. Fires low-velocity homing rounds that lock onto targets.
- Long Barrel (Prestige attachment): Enables homing behavior when firing from the hip instead of ADS.
-
VX Compact (assault rifle):
Full-auto assault rifle. Best-in-class rate of fire and excellent handling, offset by lower range and ammo capacity.
- MFS Impetus Fast Mag (Prestige attachment): Magazine that auto-ejects and improves bullet deviation and recoil stabilization.
-
AN-94 (assault rifle):
Fully automatic assault rifle. The first two rounds fire at a faster rate. Slow handling and mobility.
- 15” MFS Triumvirate Barrel (Prestige attachment): N/A.
- Executioner’s Duet (melee): High damage, short range, and very fast attack speed.
Here are the new attachments in BO7 Season 4:
- LTI Stentorian Brake (most weapons): Improves Horizontal Recoil and Bullet Deviation, and slightly improves fire rate. Firing reveals your position and direction on the mini-map in real time.
- M10 Breacher Argus Lever (M10 Breacher): Lever-action conversion. Improves fire rate and starting pellet spread. Removes weapon charging.
- XR-3 Ion Vulcan Minigun (XR-3 Ion): Transforms the XR-3 Ion into a machine gun.
- DS20 Mirage Dual Fire Kit (DS20 Mirage): Replaces ADS with additional high-damage, semi-automatic fire.
- Velox 5.7 Carbine Chassis (Velox 5.7): Converts the Velox 5.7 into a lightweight, full-auto weapon with stock and grip customization.
Events
The first half of Season 4 features two events. The Illicit Cargo camo event unlocks the VX Compact and several remastered camos from Black Ops 3. The Nuked Challenge event is tied to the Nuked Survival map and unlocks new weapon camos, as well as other cosmetics.
