BJP says Hubballi stone pelting an organised act, blames Congress

BENGALURU/HASSAN: Saturday night’s stone-pelting incident in old Hubballi area has sparked a word of war between the BJP and the Congress.

The BJP claimed that it was an act backed by the opposition party which wanted to disrupt the law and order on the lines of the DJ Halli and KG Halli riots that rocked Bengaluru in 2020. Countering the allegation, the Congress accused the ruling party of trying to use emotive and Hindutva issues to divert attention from corruption involving the state government.
