BJP chants my name more than Lord Ram’s: Congress leader Digvijaya Singh

BHOPAL: Early on Saturday morning, senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh posted a tweet with a video. It showed state BJP leaders from chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, state BJP president VD Sharma, home minister Narottam Mishra, medical education minister Vishwas Sarang to BJP MLA Rameshwar Sharma speaking only two words, “Digvijaya Singh- ji”.

These were edited versions of all allegations the BJP makes against former chief minister Digvijaya Singh.

“Madhya Pradesh mein BJP ke neta Ram naam japne ke bajae “Digvijaya” naam japta hai (In Madhya Pradesh, BJP leaders chant the name of Digvijaya instead of chanting the name of Lord Ram). Then, they also say that after taking the name of Digvijaya, they need to go take a bath. I am grateful for the “respect” I get from BJP leaders,” Singh tweeted.

Replying to Singh BJP MLA from Huzur Rameshwar Sharma tweeted: “In the praise of Lord Ram, it is not possible that the name of his opponent will not be mentioned. Kamal Nath lost the post of Leader of Opposition because he wrote a letter (asking Congress workers) to celebrate Ram Navami. We know how much that party has faith in Lord Ram.”
