New Delhi: The BJP on Friday slammed the Congress-led Kerala government for allegedly insulting Vande Mataram and the governor by playing only the opening stanzas of the national song during a function at the state assembly.
The remarks came after Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar expressed displeasure over Vande Mataram not being sung in full in the assembly when he was present for the United Democratic Front (UDF) government's policy address.
