Bitcoin hovered around $64,966 on Saturday, with the key resistance level capping further upside, while Ethereum also gained momentum. Bitcoin was trading at $64,961, while Ethereum was around $1,915.
Over the past 24 hours, Bitcoin gained 1.05% and Ethereum rose 0.55%. Among major altcoins, BNB, XRP, Solana, Tron and Dogecoin gained up to 2.46%, while Hyperliquid and Cardano declined 2.48% and 1.14%, respectively.
Riya Sehgal, Research Analyst, Delta Exchange, said Bitcoin traded near $64,900 and continues to face a key resistance zone around $65,000–$65,600 and a sustained break above this area would strengthen the case for continuation.
Sehgal further said that Ethereum showed relatively better momentum, holding above $1,900 with resistance near $1,920 and then $1,950 and overall, the macro setup has become more supportive for risk assets, but crypto still needs technical confirmation.
The global crypto market capitalisation went up 0.87% to $2.21 trillion, according to CoinMarketCap.
In the past week, Bitcoin and Ethereum were up 3.09% and 2.52% respectively. Among the major altcoins, BNB, Solana, Hyperliquid, Dogecoin, and Cardano rallied upto 16.46% whereas XRP and Tron were down 2.68% and 0.03% respectively.
Nischal Shetty, Founder, WazirX said crypto markets ended the week higher, with Bitcoin gaining 1.8% from $63,085 to $64,214. Ethereum advanced 1.9%, recovering from $1,863 to $1,898. ETH remained close to the $1,900 threshold, although mixed risk sentiment limited further momentum.
“On-chain data also showed around 155,000 BTC accumulated between $62,000 and $65,000, indicating continued buying within Bitcoin’s weekly range. Crypto ETFs generated approximately $745 million in net inflows across four consecutive positive sessions. Daily inflows ranged from around $20 million to $300 million and averaged nearly $186 million, reflecting consistent demand for regulated crypto exposure.”

Shetty further said that futures activity centred on Bitcoin’s $63,000 support and $65,000 resistance, and open interest, funding rates and volume remained important for confirming moves beyond these ranges.
