Birmingham City's George Hall stance revealed amid Leeds United links

Birmingham City youngster George Hall has been a target of Leeds United since the summer transfer window and now the Whites might finally get the deal over the line in January.

The Blues are willing to let the 18-year-old go in the January transfer window to secure the necessary funds to pull current Wolverhampton Wanderers loanee Dion Sanderson to St. Andrews on a permanent deal.

According to the Daily Mail, Birmingham accept that Hall's departure to Elland Road is 'inevitable' but will still put up a fight for his services.

It's believed that they recognise he still has more than a year left on his contract and are open to offering him a new deal with the promise of more playing time in the future.

Hall has started just five times for the Blues this season but has made numerous substitute appearances in one of which he found the assist to Scott Hogan's equaliser against Burnley in October.
