A woman was birdwatching in her garden as a death-defying aerial stunt unfolded right above her own head, thought to be from the latest Mission Impossible film.
Tom Cruise's action movies are renowned for their breath taking stunts which has seen the American strapped to the side of airplanes and injuring himself badly on more than one occasion.
As Susan Marais was birdwatching, at her home near Hoedspruit, in South Africa, she came a lot closer to the action than she had ever anticipated.
The 66-year-old knew that Tom Cruise and the movie had been filming the eighth instalment of the series on location in South Africa for a few weeks.
So it wasn't a total surprise when she was birdwatching and heard a helicopter overhead.
But she didn't expect to see a man hanging from the helicopter, which was hovering above a biplane.
Pictures and video captured by Susan from her farm on Tuesday show the stunning moment.
She said: "I'm a keen birdwatcher and I was filming the birds in my garden when I saw the planes go by.
"They were hovering on top of each other and then I spotted the man hanging. I was really excited and realised something big was happening.
"I'll definitely be going to see the film when it comes out as it features our home and our mountains."
Tom Cruise, 59, has been photographed in and around the Kruger National Park while reprising his role as Ethan Hunt.
He regularly stops and chats to locals - revealing previously that the cast and crew were loving their time in the country.
