Queer and gender fluid musician Bimini has urged young people in the LGBTQ+ community to spend less time online and experience more of life in the real world.

Reflecting on how social media affects younger generations, the performer , who appears on The Independent Pride List 2026, said many young people now struggle to know what they truly want because they spend so much time on their phones.
