Billy Ray Cyrus has appeared to confirm his engagement to his younger fiancée - just months after it was revealed his wife of 28 years, Tish, had filed for divorce.
The country music legend, 61, is said to have been dating 'his new fiancée' Firerose for "a little while" after the pair grew close while they were working on music together.
Taking to Instagram, Billy Ray cuddled up to his partner on Tuesday as she flashed her huge diamond ring.
He captioned the photo: "Happy Autumn [red heart emoji]."
It comes after an insider close to Billy Ray and his famous family have reportedly shed some more light on how he met the young singer.
"They've been dating for a little while," they said. "They grew close while working on music together. It is what it is. He and Tish were over before he started dating her," the source told People.
The relationship is thought to be moving quickly after Firerose was spotted with a giant diamond ring, sparking speculation the couple are engaged.
"Billy is happier than he has been in a long time with Firerose," said another insider.
"There had been problems in his marriage for a while," they told The Sun. "He and Tish have been on and off for the best part of a decade, but things had been over for some time before the announcement in April.
"Not everyone sees his decision to move on so quickly in the same light though."
The source claimed there has been "some tension with Miley" but "everyone is hopeful that they will be able to get over it soon enough".
"Thankfully his other kids do not have an issue with him and he has just collaborated with his youngest, Noah, on a song," they added.
