Billy Horschel probably was a bit frustrated last Friday when he was one of many big names to miss the Travelers cut by seven shots. But that meant some quality time on the golf course with his wife, Brittany.
Like Billy, Brittany played golf at the University of Florida, where the couple met. On Sunday, they played a round at the Country Club of Fairfield, the No. 2-ranked private course in Connecticut according to Golfweek’s Best.
Brittany used a 4-hybrid on the 190-yard, 9th hole for the second hole-in-one in her life.
Billy videoed Brittany as she was walking to the green and asked her what just happened.
“I think I made a hole-in-one,” she said. “I’m still a little skeptical.”
Until she saw the ball in the cup.
“Played a little golf today at Country Club of Fairfield and wifey, @brittany_horschel, decided to make an ace on the 9th hole. 4 hybrid from 190,” Billy posted.
