Many stories of that epic adventure will be regaled in the days to come, as we all pay tribute to a man who transformed football in Northern Ireland.

And this little moment of nostalgia will evoke plenty of memories.

It was shared two years ago by Gerry Armstrong - the goalscoring hero from that night in Valencia - who was sent the rare footage by Alderman Steward McDonald.

It shows members of the 1982 squad being interviewed by David Icke and singing The Wild Rover.

Armstrong - who is seen leading the sing-along - was on target in a 4-1 defeat to France, which brought the curtain down on Northern Ireland's tournament.

But he will forever be remembered for his heroics against Spain in Valencia.
