Bills star Stefon Diggs’s beer-soaked touchdown celebration gave NFL fans a top-tier viral moment in Week 4, but unfortunately for the receiver, his actions were not as well received by league brass.
The NFL announced Sunday Diggs received a fine of $13,659 for unsportsmanlike conduct during his TD celebration early in Buffalo’s 48–20 win over the Dolphins, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Diggs’s show-stealing theatrics came in the second quarter after he hauled in an 11-yard Josh Allen pass for a touchdown to put the Bills up, 20–14. After the score, Diggs, in a clear homage to WWE icon “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, snagged two beers from a nearby fan and smashed them together as he teammates and the crowd erupted.

The big-time play added to what was a monster three-TD, 120-yard day for Diggs in the rout. And, while the numbers were impressive, Diggs let reporters, and the unsuspecting fan, know after the game that he was concerned about, at least, one pending charge heading his way.
“Yeah I owe somebody $18 dollars,” Diggs joked.
Following Saturday’s announcement, Diggs will now owe the NFL, or “No Fun League” as some may call it, a lot more than his pending tab ahead of the Bills’ Week 5 clash with the Jaguars in London.
