The Atlanta Falcons have gotten limited production from their rookie draft class this season and now one of their picks has been poached by another team. According to a report from NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Buffalo Bills have signed defensive lineman Zion Logue off the Falcons’ practice squad.
Logue was selected with the last of Atlanta’s three sixth-round picks in the 2024 NFL draft. The former Georgia defensive tackle was the only Falcons rookie not to make the team’s initial 53-man roster out of training camp.
The Falcons have yet to dress their two other rookie defensive lineman this season. Second-round pick Ruke Orhorhoro and fourth-rounder Brandon Dorlus have been healthy scratches in the first four games.

Atlanta reportedly signed linebacker Rashaan Evans to the practice squad on Monday and now we know why there was no corresponding move. Evans will help fill in for linebacker Troy Andersen, who injured his knee in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s win over the Saints and did not return.
The former first-round pick signed with the Falcons as a free agent in 2022 and started all 17 games that season. Evans led the team with 159 tackles (86 solo), adding two sacks and two fumble recoveries. Despite his productive year, the Falcons did not bring back Evans in 2023.
