As the Buffalo Bills get ready to face the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday night, they’ll have a close eye on two players: Aaron Donald and Cooper Kupp. Obviously, those two aren’t the Rams’ only difference-makers, but they will have a big impact on the outcome of the game.
Bills coach Sean McDermott knows how good both Donald and Kupp are, and he had some positive things to say about each on Sunday. He called Donald the best player in the NFL on defense, pointing to the fact that he’s always blowing up plays in the backfield.

McDermott also said Kupp deserves “every ounce of recognition he’s gotten” since putting together his historic 2021 season, during which he led the NFL in receptions, receiving yards and touchdown catches.

The Rams rewarded Donald and Kupp with contract extensions this offseason, giving them raises for the work they did to help the team win Super Bowl LVI last season. No one expects either player to slow down in 2022, and it starts on Thursday night against Buffalo.
