Billie Eilish uses Glasto set to declare 'dark day for women' as Roe v Wade is reversed

Billie Eilish used her headline performance at there Glastonbury Festival on Friday night to highlight the fact the law has been dragged backwards in the USA as abortion has been made illegal for millions of women across the country.

On Friday, women and their allies around the world reacted in shock and horror when the Supreme Court of the United States overturned the landmark 1973 Roe v Wade case which had made abortion legal across the USA.

But now that the ruling has been overturned almost 50 years later, abortion laws can be dictated at a State level - with the procedure now no longer legal across many States.
