Billie Eilish confessed she was ‘nervous’ to meet Daniel Craig as she had a huge crush on the 007 actor.
The 20-year-old Grammy-winning singer was hired, along with brother Finneas, to write and perform the Oscar-nominated theme song for Daniel’s final outing as James Bond in last year’s hugely successful blockbuster, No Time To Die.
Billie opened up on her attraction to the British actor during an appearance on on Late Night with Seth Meyers, and when asked if she was “nervous” to meet the handsome star, she nodded in agreement.
“It’s James Bond. He’s a Dilf! She cheekily quipped, calling Daniel the rude acronym - used to describe a hot older man - that stands for “dad I’d like to f**k”.
Host Seth also spoke of his attraction to Knives Out star, as he said it was “weird” he also had a crush on Daniel.
“I found when I say it, it’s weird. But I want you to know I’m in full agreement,” he joked.
“You should be. Those eyes, girl,” Billie replied.
“You literally would not believe them. They look crazy. When I met him I was like, ‘Woah,’” she added.
She also opened up on the making of the theme song for No Time To Die, and said that it was “a very long strategic process”.
“It wasn’t like, ‘You got the job, here it is.’ We were auditioning pretty much. So it was not like an ego thing,” the bad guy hitmaker said.
“It wasn’t like, ‘We want you.’ We auditioned and kind of just did our best and worked really hard,” Billie explained.
The award-winning musician said that James Bond producer Barbara Broccoli gave them “the first little bit of the script” to give them a “taste” of the film, and that’s what helped them “literally write the song”.
No Time to Die has been nominated for Best Original Song at the upcoming Oscars ceremony next month, and Billie said she and brother Finneas will be attending, even though she’s terrified.
“It's the scariest thing. I went to the Oscars in 2020 right before Covid happened and it was like the coolest scariest thing ever. I've never been more nervous in my life,” she confessed.
