Umbrellas in all shapes and sizes have become the hottest accessory for thousands of Aussie fans of pop superstar Billie Eilish as they queued for hours in the late-summer sun.

The 23-year-old American singer-songwriter is on the Australian leg of her world tour, Hit Me Hard and Soft, and will play for four sold-out nights in Sydney from Monday.
