Billie Eilish fans in for a unique experience at 3Arena concert

Billie Eilish fans are in for a unique experience at her 3Arena concerts this weekend.

The 20-year-old is set to play in the Dublin venue on June 4 and June 5, 2022.

The young artist has been outspoken about climate change, and her 2022 “Happier Than Ever” tour is said to be one of the greenest world tours the music industry has ever seen.

From introducing fans to plant-based eating to eliminating carbon emissions, she’s ensuring that her admirers have the opportunity to practise a healthy lifestyle.

Here are some of the things that 3Arena are doing to support Billie Eilish in her fight against climate change.

Eco Village

As with all of Billie's shows on her tour there will be an Eco Village set up in the venue for fans to visit.

At the eco-village, fans can find out about local environmental projects, make a pledge to eat one plant-based meal a day for 30 days.

Free water refills

All fans are encouraged to bring their own empty refillable water bottle. Just go to a bar or shop inside the venue and they will refill it as many times as you need.

Plant based food

Food related emissions make up 26percent of global greenhouse gas emissions so the concert venue will be offering delicious plant-based options.

Elimination of single-use plastics

All the glasses and soft drink bottles sold at the venue are made from rPET which is plastic that contains a high recycled content.

This supports the recycling industry and gives plastic a second life.

There will be no single use plastic. Everything will be compostable from paper straws to wooden cutlery

FOH Waste and Recycling

3Arena works closely with a waste management company and cleaners to ensure that all their waste is separated and recycled.

Transport

Audience travel contributes up to 80 percent of the carbon footprint of a show. So concert goers are encouraged to take public transport to the venue.

The Luas stops right outside our door and it is within 12 minutes’ walk from all the major transport hubs in the city centre. You can find out more here.
