Billboard Latin Music Week 2024: What to Expect and Who Will Participate

In Spanish

The highly anticipated Billboard Latin Music Week kicks off this Monday, October 14, in Miami Beach. This year's event promises to be a star-studded affair, with over 70 artists, producers, and music executives in attendance. Among the exciting participants are names we never thought we'd see together on the same stage, such as Peso Pluma and Alejandro Sanz, who are set to share their insights on the Latin music industry.

Other surprising pairings include Pepe Aguilar and J. Balvin, as well as Thalía and María Becerra, the latter two set to discuss the importance of mental health in the entertainment world. But that's just the beginning. This year's lineup is packed with top-tier artists, with Young Miko, Yandel, and Feid each hosting their own panels, and the legendary Gloria Estefan, the queen of Miami and Latin music, bringing exciting announcements.

Mon Laferte, Belinda, Danna Paola, Kenia OS, Domelipa, and Elena Rose will headline panels representing female empowerment in the music industry, alongside Camila Fernández, Majo Aguilar, and Chiquis.

One of the standout features of this year's edition is the event's venue: the iconic Fillmore Theater in Miami Beach. This historic theater, the first in the city, has been chosen to commemorate the 35th anniversary of Billboard Latin Music Week, adding an extra layer of significance to the event.

In addition to the exciting discussions, this year's program includes a special live songwriting session by Grupo Frontera, showcasing the creative process behind their hits. Another highlight is the focus on the impact of social media on the music industry, as well as panels discussing the rise of Venezuelan artists in the global music scene—both first-time additions to the event.
