A biker has died in a road crash on the west coast on Sunday evening following a collision between two motorcycles and a car.
The 55-year-old man was riding his Triumph motorbike along with a 54-year-old man on a Honda motorbike on the B845 near to Taynuil in Argyll and Bute when the pair were involved in a road crash with a Skoda car being driven by a 37-year-old man at around 6.10pm.
Emergency services attended and all three men were rushed to Lorn and Islands Hospital in Oban. Tragically, the 55-year-old died a short time later.
The 54-year-old man and the 37-year-old man were released after treatment, police have confirmed.
Sergeant Kevin Craig of the Road Policing Unit at Dumbarton said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died.
“We would ask anyone who has any information that may assist our enquiries into this crash to contact us through 101 with reference number 2671 of 25 September.”
