Houston-born rapper Big Pokey, real name Milton Powell, has died at the age of 45, it has been confirmed.
The rapper allegedly fell to the floor during a performance in Texas on Saturday, with his death confirmed by Justice of the Peace Tom Gillam III, according to reports.
CBS affiliate KFDM reported: "Justice of The Peace Tom Gillam III has confirmed that Houston Rapper Milton Powell, better known as Big Pokey passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital."
They stated that his death came after he "passed out" at Pour 09 Bar in Beaumont on Saturday night. They added that his cause of death is pending an autopsy.
A video has been shared on social media that shows Big Pokey collapsing. In the footage people can be seen rushing to the rapper.
While the US Sun reports that a second clip shared online shows people performing CPR on the musician.

Big Pokey is best-known for being an original member of hip-hop group Screwed Up Click.
His work wasn't limited to music, with him even starring in films too. In 2001 he appeared in the film Soldiers United for Cash, with him later starring in the movie Dirty Third 2: Home Sweet Home.
Tributes have been flocking in for the rapper, with fans and fellow musicians quick to pay their respects.
Close friend of Pokey, Port Arthur Native Bun B, shared a touching tribute on Instagram.
He wrote: "I wasn't ready for this. One of the most naturally talented artists in the city. Low key, humble mountain of a man who moved with honor and respect. he was easy to love and hard to hate...."
While one fan said on Twitter: "Sad day for Houston.....Rip big pokey......Texas legend forever."
"Pull out your cassette players, pop in the gray tapes, and jam one time for Big Pokey," added another.
While a third said: "Can’t believe I’m saying this but RIP Big Pokey a real Texas legend !!"
