IGA supplier losing tobacco sales to black market

A leading distributor to family-owned Australian retailers is the latest to experience a big loss in tobacco sales to the black market.

IGA supplier Metcash said on Monday tobacco sales for the six months to October 31 plunged 35.1 per cent to $637.8 million, compared to the same period a year ago.
