REALITY star Hughie Maughan has revealed how he would love to take part in Celebrity Ultimate Hell Week.
The 27-year-old, who found fame on Big Brother, said it’s the one show he would love to do to prove everyone wrong.
The former youth worker said despite not going to the gym he is mentally very tough.
Hughie told the Irish Sunday Mirror: “I really want to do Celebrity Ultimate Hell Week. I would love to do it.
“Just to have a great experience, it’s something I have never done before and it would push me a little too. When have Irish viewers ever seen me in a situation like that? They haven’t.
“I am active, I wouldn’t say that I’m fit, but I would be grand. I have a good heart and keep going.”
And when asked if he would be able to go without his fake tan and makeup, Hughie joked: “I’m not as high maintenance as people think I am.”
Hughie, who is set to try his luck once again on next Thursday’s First Dates Ireland, said he is a romantic at heart and would love to settle down and in time have kids.
He added: “I’m 27 now and 28 in July and I would like to settle down and meet somebody and be in a relationship.
“I would love to have a kid and stuff but there’s going to be a process for that.”
And when it comes to celebrity crushes, Hughie revealed how Colin Farrell would be his dream man. He added: “Oh, Colin Farrell is gorgeous. All the Irish guys are lovely.”
But he said in the meantime he’s looking forward to going on more dates to try and find Mr Perfect.
He added: “I’m up for a good time and a laugh. I was in a relationship from 21 to 26 so I never really dated much.
“I would say I’m romantic for sure, my favourite part of a relationship is cuddles and dates.”
- First Dates Ireland airs on Thursday at 9.30pm on RTE2 and RTE Player.
